Lego has been creating hundreds of fun and unique sets for people of all ages for many years. Have you ever seen limited edition sets or a set that related to your favorite film? They have been partnering and collaborating with various companies since 1999 to create fan-favorite builds which have been increasing the promotion of their brand and of other companies and films, as well.

Their first collaboration was in 1999 with the Star Wars franchise. Ever since then, they have collaborated with a number of films and shows like The Simpsons, Fast and the Furious and Harry Potter. The fans show their love and connection with Lego and of these films and shows by purchasing these collaboration sets which sometimes sell out quickly.

The films and shows that connect with Lego could also get a boost in views. People might watch the new movie or show and that would increase box office sales or the number of streams.

They have also collaborated with many companies such as Adidas, Levis and Ikea. These special sets include Adidas shoe sets that come in an Adidas shoe box, Lego accessories sewn onto Levi’s apparel and storage containers for Lego pieces that are only sold at Ikea.

These collaborations have increased the visibility of Lego, other companies, films and shows simultaneously. And because of the high visibility, public relations teams across these companies have the great opportunity to release new media pieces whenever a new Lego set drops. Fans spread the word to their friends and families about these incoming sets and lots of fans post to their social media accounts to alert the public.

The next time you see a Lego set, think about all of the companies and brands that are connected with it!
