How Rihanna Continues To Creatively Dominate The Public Relations Scene

Rihanna proved that less is always more with a simple but outstanding mix of songs she has created and has been featured on over the years. Not only did she open with a dynamic performance at the 2023 SuperBowl Halftime Show, but simultaneously announced her pregnancy in a rather declarative way.

At her first full concert style since her six year hiatus, Rihanna wowed the nation with a performance that was visually compelling and featured many and only songs from her previous albums-- a very exciting detail for childhood me. A plethora of songs ranging from “Bitch Better Have My Money“ to “Diamonds” and all of the bangers in between. It was incredible to watch her put on a show that was somewhat toned down, erring on the simple side and it still be that fabulous… a true treat to hear her sing.
While she did spark the conversation of a second pregnancy, and ignite shock from person to person, Rihanna’s representative did later confirm the rumors. Her first announcement was another shocker when she posted photos on social media of her and partner A$AP Rocky in Paris with a coat that was remarkable and her belly showing through.
I believe that this was a subtly iconic way to announce that she has another baby on the way and just a fun little public relations stunt when you think about it. Rihanna is now the only woman who can say that she performed the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show but also exclaimed her pregnancy at the same time. I wish her nothing but health and abundance during this experience with motherhood.
